Sept. 22, 2008 ~ Birthday
Today I'm 53, and a cousin took great pleasure in welcoming me to my mid-fifties. Technically, though, I don't think "mid" starts until about about 54 and 4 months. Which is fine. When I'm there, I'll enjoy it. Till then? EARLY fifties! Right?
The nice thing about birthdays is hearing from old friends, catching up on all their news. I'm looking forward to that.
Yesterday Husband and I had a nice lunch at Olive Garden, complete with yummy chocolate cake. He also sent beautiful roses. He's a sweetheart!
Now it's time to walk our sweet dog, and then get ready for work.
